We always communicate with a lot of people. The way how we communicate with are many style. For example, we can communicate with any people by talking. Contrary this, there is an eye contact. I think that an eye contact is deeply things. So if I can make my self understood to them, and the person can understand, I feel good and nice. And I feel happy. In living our life, communication is necessary. We can't live without communication.

Family
I think that family is a comfortable group for me. Maybe our family member will think the same things. If my feeling depress, my family makes me silent without saying. However we are able to go to somewhere by car. It is kind of small family trip isn't it? So we are able to make family memories. Our family member is four. There are my father, my mother, my younger sister and me. My parents are getting along with very nicely. Now my younger sister is three grades in high school. She is studying very hard now in order to entry the university which she want to go.

BR 2-07: Ant Cities

I read this book which is written about ants. How much do you know about ants? Actually I don't know so much about ants. I think that ants are very tiny and move fast. They are good at escaping anywhere.

I am going to talk about content in this story.

Ants are always moving. They are very active. To make their nest, they are always moving. In a nest, there are miles of tunnels and hundreds of rooms. In the rooms of the nest, worker ants do many different kinds of work. For example, some ants bring food from outside into a nest and crack the seeds. Then the ants chew the seeds to get the juices. Other workers store seeds. Moreover ants lays eggs and grow these.

In the nest, there is a Queen ant. The queen is bigger than the other ants. Anyway ants work very well.

This book describes the nest, kind of ants, how to make something.

I think that each of ants have their own work. You think ants cities are very wonderful, isn't it?*haha* There are over 10000 kinds of ants in the world such as Formica ants, Cornfield ants, Carpenter ants, Thief ants, Leaf cutting ants, and Army ants. Maybe that ants work harder than human, I think. To be honest, I don't like ants because the groups of ants are very strangely and not so good. However, I am able to know about ants.

BR 2-06: The PLANETS in Our SOLAR SYSTEM

I read science book this time too. I want to overcome this series.
Now I am going to talk about the planets in our solar system. How do you understand about our planet? Can you answer the names of some of the planets? I am sure that maybe you know all of them. How far is it from Earth to the sun? Is it only the Earth that we can live? So these questions are solved completely by reading this book.

We live on a planet. Our planet is called Earth. In our solar system, the nine planets exist. These are Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto. We need a telescope to see Neptune and Pluto.
Asteroids are big chunks of rock. It goes around the sun. Comets are collections of ice, gas, and dust. Meteoroids are bits of rock and metal. A shooting star is a meteoroid.
Earth is a middle-sized planet. Mercury, Venus, Mars and Pluto are smaller than Earth. Pluto is the smallest planet all of the nine planets. However, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune are larger than Earth. Jupiter is the biggest of all the planets. Over 1000 Earths could fit inside Jupiter.
We people can't live on Mercury or Venus. We would burn up. Contrary to the former, we can't live on Neptune or Pluto, because we would freeze. Jupiter and Saturn are very cold. The planet that we can live on is only Earth!!!

I think that Earth is a precious planet for us to live. I can't believe that Earth disappears. I can enjoy and study our solar system with reading this book. The good points of this book are two. First is that there are many pictures and diagram, so we can image easily. Second is that we can know the words about our solar system. Is it like a kind of TOEFL test isn't it??? So I recommend you to read it!

BR 2-05: How Mountains are made

I read this book. This book is a science book. I read this series. This series has many science books, so I intend to read it from now. This series convince me, so I can study science by reading this book. And this book clear up what we have questions. I will talk about this story briefly.

This book "How Mountains are made" is written about process of being made mountains. It is a kind of geography. I have studied geography when I was high school days, so I can review a content now in English. The way how to make mountains relate with Plate, Magma, Rocky Mantle, and so on. Mountains have four types. These are Folded, Dome, Fault-Block and Volcanic. Moreover, present mountains relate with sea.

By the way, Mt. Everest is a younger mountain, and it is still being pushed up higher. Millions of years from now, there will not be mountains. It will be like a desert.

I think that it is good chance to learn a lot of science in English. And it is written in easy English, so everyone can understand this content and you can enjoy it! A lot of pictures in this book are pretty and this book includes many pictures. So try it!

Essays 2-02: My Favorite place ~The Kirishima Mountains~

This time I am going to talk about my favorite place. My favorite place is the Kirishima Mountains in Miyazaki prefecture and Kagoshima prefecture. Have you ever heard "Mt. Kirishima"? Some people may know it, and others may not know it, I think. Well, do you know "Kuro-Kirishima"? This was named "Kuro-Kirishima" after the Kirishima Mountains. The Kirishima Mountains are located in the prefectural border of Miyazaki and Kagoshima. The Kirishima Mountains which I see from my house on a fine day are very very beautiful. Moreover, in the Kirishima Mountains, scenery changes every season, and there is fascination of every season. That is the reason why I love it, so now I will explain about three favorite points.

First favorite point is a fascination of the Kirishima Mountains. This place has seasonal phase. Spring has the cherry blossom and young leaves in the mountains. When I was a high school days, I went there for school outing mountain climbing every year. Every time we climb, we enjoyed climbing and seeing beautiful scene. Trees or leaves turn in fresh green mountains in summer. Autumn, the leaves turn in autumn. In winter, the mountains colored snow white. It is a beautiful shine. I would like you to see change of scene each season. Especially, I recommend you to see fall season. You can feel fresh air in cool climate, so you will be able to relax.

Second favorite point is a lot of wild animals. There are many kinds of wild animals in a plain. I would often go to the Kirishima Mountains for leisure. Every time we saw wild deer, rabbits, raccoon dogs, foxes and unusual birds. In a plain park wild parents and child deer often showed up. When we approached them, they didn't run away from us. So I was surprised them. I think that they are not scared human.

Third favorite point is a lot of sightseeing. The Kirishima Mountains have not only seasonal scene but also many active places. Of course we can climb the mountains but there is a walking course. It is an exclusive for walking. My family would often use this course. Moreover we can enjoy skating in winter. There is located in a plain. A lot of people visit there for spending leisure time. There are also camping place. Family or any groups often use this place. After that we have a chance to take a hot spring. It is very special view from open-air bath.

I suggest you to go there at least once. I would like you to experience these giant natures and relax yourself. I'm sure you will also like these places. I hardly have time to go there by car with my family now. However I am going to go there in this winter vacation to refresh. I want to discover new good places next time and relax myself!! I love the Kirishima Mountains.

BR 2-04: The Moon seems to Change

I read this book "The Moon Seems to Change". It is a science book. Do you know this series? I found this kind this time. Maybe we had studied science until high school days. When I found this book, I was very interested in it and I began to want to read it, so I chose it. Also I wanted to know how to explain changing moon in English.

Do you know that the moon seems to change? The moon goes around the Earth. It takes about four weeks to go around and we can only see parts of the moon. Anyway, there are six patterns of the moon. Can you say the name in each of them? The moon changes... New, Crescent, First Quarter, Full, Third Quarter and Crescent. I was surprised to know names of "First Quarter" and "Third Quarter". These are questionable for me why both of them are not "half".

By the way, do you know that we can do own experiment to show the phrases of the moon? We can do it easily. Please read and try it.

I think that it is very useful for us to read, because we can review the science. Moreover we are able to recall the knowledge of science. There are many pictures in this book, so we can understand words, process and content easily. This science book reminds me of junior high school days, because I studied this content in my junior high school. Please try this book!

Favorite Place

My favorite place is Kirishima in Miyazaki. Kirishima is huge nature place, for example Mt. Kirishima, lakes, many forests, many wild animals and hot spring and so on. Kirishima is good place for me to spend there each season.

In spring, we are able to go to see he cherry blossoms in Kirishima. There are pink, read, yellow and green color there. These are colors of flower. We can see not only cherry blossoms, but also other flowers. In summer, actually it is very hot, so it is not good season to go out. However all of forests turned in fresh green. So it makes me relaxed. In fall, Kirshima is best place to go out, because many forests turned in autumn. So we can enjoy seeing beautiful view. Moreover we are able to go on a hike to Mt. Kirishima. Every fall season my family go there. Recently I didn't go there, but my parents go there.

My favorite activities are walking in colored leaves, eating foods, and cycling. Fall is cool, so we can spend this season easily. Anyway fall is best season for playing sports, reading books, eating fresh foods and soon. In those walking in colored leaves in fall makes me calm. We are able to enjoy looking at beautiful view and be good exercise, I think.

I read this book"Christmas carol". Do you know this story? This work is famous for Charles John Huffam Dickens's work. I have never his works, but I began to be interested in his works when I read this book. So I am going to introduce this story from now.

A main character is a merchant called Scrooge. He is a person who was spending the days when are completely unrelated to warmth or the love of the human heart. He was setting up the office in London. He employed Bob at that time. Since he continued in dealing with making money only, he was disliked from the merchants of the trading partner or neighbors. One day evening, Scrooge was visited departed soul of the late Marley.
To escape from his miserable ending, and to change from his way of life to his new life, three spirits appear before him from now on.

It is very fantasy and impossible story, I think. However I like this story because we can image the story easily. Also this story changes a main character from bad character to good character. So this story tells us what important something. Maybe it will be kind heart...

BR 2-02: Jane Eyre

I read this book before this summer vacation. When I took an English literature introduction for first semester, I found this book. I heard the name of writer, Charlotte Bronte. He is famous for writing stories all over the world. I have never heard the name of this person and looked at him, so I was interested in reading his works.

Today I am going to talk about his story, Jane Eyre.
Once upon a time, there was a girl. Her name was Jane Eyre. Her parents had died from illness. So she was brought up by being abuse from her aunt and aunt's children. One day she was sent to an educational center and she encounter many people. They were very kind. After that she was employed as a tutor. She was proposed from the present head of the family, but it turned to be that he had a wife. So she left there. Next she also came across John. He intended to go to India with her. But she noticed that she heard voice of someone from somewhere, so she refused it. It was Rochester. He was sick ill, so she looked after him and they finally got married.

I think that she spent the eventful life for everything. However it is good to live a substantial life. When she was a little, she would be painful, I think. If I was the place of her, I would not be able to stand. Nobody knows whether life what happens.
It is very famous for an English literature, so I want you to read it!

Hello everyone. Long time no see! What's up??? How was your summer vacation in this year? Did you go somewhere, such as travel, camping, shopping, hometown and so on...? Some people were busy for part-time jobs, and others would enjoy their own time each, you know. My summer vacation in this year was so full for me, so it is my important memories. In this summer vacation, I had a new experience for the first time in my university life. It is...travel to Okinawa with my 3 eibei-friends!!! It was first time for us, so we were sooooo excited!!! I was looking forward to waiting these days before going to Okinawa. I think travel is a precious experience because we see and touch many things, meet many people and feel something.

We can hang out there by riding on pineapple car. Moreover we are able to eat pineapple many times and drink pine wine or fresh pine juice and so on... We also eat goya a little bit. It was good. I don't like it so much, but I can eat it. It is healthy for us to eat. Now I think that travel is a precious experience for me. I can feel many things for variety view. I was touched by doing travel. My feeling was gradually changing by travel. It may make me stepped up. I am planning to go to Kyoto next spring vacation with my friend. We want to touch Japanese cultural things and have a precious experience.


Okinawa is the nearest tropical resort place in Japan, I think. There are a lot of beautiful and wonderful sightseeing places. When you arrive there, you will feel that you get to another resort country. You will feel resort feeling of resort country. BR 2-01: Oliver Twist

I read this book before the summer vacation in this year. I took an English literature introduction first semester in my second grade. When I studied it, I read work of Charles Dickens. So I selected this interesting literature. He is also famous for "Christmas carol".

I will talk about this story easily.

There was a orphan, Oliver Twist. He lived in a home for orphans. One day he was handed over to the funeral director. However he left his home because they couldn't get along with them. After that he arrived in London. He was handed over to someone again. They were theft group. Oliver understood their job. He had never stolen somethings He was suspected as a suspected person, but the suspicion was clear since then. He tried to escape there, but theft group brought back him home. So he was difficult place.

It was very interesting and exciting for me to read this story. Every time I read continuance of this story, I was so exited because many incidents happened one after the other. I think that he had so strong will. If he was tempted from people, he obeyed his conscience. I was moved his behavior.

I love the discovery of this story, so I want you to read this story. If you read this book, you will also be interested in it. I want to read works of Charles Dickens more.
