英米Party in とり鉄

On 27th we had 英米 Party in とり鉄, where is part-time job's place of my friend.
We gathered near the ダイエー in shimo street. At first, 20 people intended to join this party, but 4 people absented. So There were 16 people in a party.

We arrived at とり鉄, and ate or drank with friends. The dishes were very good. This shop is my recommendation! Please go there and enjoy eating and drinking! とり鉄 had some food and something to drink. I love grilled chicken ; 焼き鳥(yakitori). Do you know? It is one of my favorite foods. I love it!!! It is very nice for me. My hometown is famous for chicken. It is 地鶏(jidori) of them. Please try it when you visit Miyazaki!!! I think that 焼き鳥(yakitori) in とり鉄 are best of all store. I want to go there again.

After that, I talked with many friends and took pictures with them. The atmosphere of there was so good and everyone was laughing! The pictures are my memories. Overseas students also enjoyed it! I could talk with them, so I was so happy to talk with them. Especially, it was nice for me to talk with new overseas students. I want to go somewhere with them and talk more!

The party finished about at 9:30 pm. After that there ware post-party party, but I had to go back home because I had to do my homework! There was a lot of home work left. I was sorry to go post-party party. If we have a party again, I will go next time! I had a very very very good time.

BR 1-04 "The Barbecue"

Donut and Cleo's mum has a big barbecue to celebrate her fortieth birthday. Everyone on Story Streety comes to join in the fun, even the brigade!

Exciting News
Donut is going to hold a party next weekend. Everybody is coming. She wispered to Jojo. When they were talking, Mrs Ambrose said joking to Donut. Everyone laughed.
After that Donut said, " Mum is going to be forty, so we are throwing a party. Everyone is invited!"
The party is barbecue. "It is going to be really good," Donut went on.
But Cleo was mad! " It caught fire and the firefighters came and put it out."

Sam asked Cleo if Uncle David's dog was all right now. Dog is dead. She wispered to Donut. " Did your mum's barbecue cooking kill the dog?" She was surprised. Donut rolled his eyes! " NO WAY!!!!! The dog died months later. He died in his sleep."

The Singing Tree
Barbecue day arrived and everyone brought presents for Cassandra Pringle, because it was her Birthday. She was very very happy. After that dancing bigan. Mum was dancing and singing. But her hasband was cooking for a long time. At last the food was ready. She played the piano and her hasband sang. However, he was very, very bad! Mr Pringle sang LOUDER and LOUDER. Then he began to climv the big oak tree.But he couldn't come down from tree.....

Sam's Dad to the Rescue
Everyone called the fire brigade to help him, because he couldn't come down by himself. When firefighter arrived there and helped him. He was very secure. Then everyone ate and dancing!

I think this story is very good. At first I think that fire was happend. But it was not! It was surprising. The firefighter came to garden to help him. I couln't come up with this happening! But this happening was nice. I like his character. I like this convination which both he and she. this is nice couple!

BR 1-03 "The Carnival"

The friends are looking after Pip. In the lift he pushes the magic button by mistake.

There are a lot of characters in this book.Mouse and Jojo had to look after Pip. Pip was in a bad mood at that time.
He had been crying for a long time like this "Waaaaaa!!"
When Sam tried to take him to in the park, he waved his arms around and he hit the magic button! Then all of them arrived at Strange Street. They didn't want Pip to go there, but he yelled "Noooooo!" Eventually, they began to go there.
In there, Strange Street was having a carnival! It was very nice for them.
A clown gave Pip a red balloon. That made him happy. Anyway he could enjoy it.
After that the empty float stopped next to them. So they can ride on this. Pip was laughing and clapping his hands. However they had to get off the lift. When they landed, Pip's lovely red balloon had gone. So he began to cry again...

I think that Pip always cried because he was child. However he cried too much! So they were in trouble! They must have tired for looking after him. Maybe I cannot help putting up with him. I want to see a carnival someday.

BR 1-02 "The Christmas Disco"

There is lots of excitement at the Strong Street School Christmas disco!

First of all, I like this book cover, because this book's pictures are very cute and colorful! So it is very nice! Please read this book's series.

The stage was at Story Street School. Everyone was excited. It was Christmas, so there was a tall Christmas tree into the hall. The teachers decorated coloured balls or silver star with Christmas tree. On the other hand the children were excited in a disco! One of them said, "I'll be the best dancer!" She began to sing and dance. "Doo-bee-doo-bee-doo!"
At last the evening of the disco came. Inside the school it was dark and noisy. They were dancing with funny. Big lights flashed on and off, red, blue, green and yellow. The children ran to the middle of the hall, and began to dance.

Buuuuut---!!! Everything went black. The music stopped. Can you image the situation after that? If you want to know this story, I hope to read this book.

By reading this book, I want to dance and sing too. Especially I want to dance! It made me happy and excited, so I'll have a positive spirit, I think. And I want to make original Christmas tree!!

Mariah ❤ Carey

This song, "Fly like a bird" is one of my favorite songs. I love Mariah Carey❤　Recently, I hear songs of Mariah Carey. Her songs are very good and comfortable for me, so I often hear this song with cleaning during weekend.
I think that her songs' melody is so wonderful for me. Also, I like her voice! Her voice is really high tone and beautiful.
In addition, this You Tube's Mariah is very cute! This animation makes me excited!!! I feel that it is like fantasy and dream land!!! I do not know the meaning of this song yet, so I'll think the meaning of it and I want to check it!

Welcome Party !!!!!

On 16th, Wednesday, we had a welcome party at dormitory of overseas students. There was a lot of people there.The welcome party started at 7 pm.

First of all, overseas students introduced themselves. There were about 16 new overseas students there. I thought that there is a lot of Korean this year. The students from America are few this year. Almost all of them are students from Montana in America. There are no Canadian this year. I want to make friends with them!!!

And, after that, we had a dinner. The tables are prepared five. There were some kinds of food or dishes. I was very hungry that time, so I am very happy to eat. I lost myself in eating that time. However after eating, we walked around the table and talked with a lot of people. We could talk with people who do not know each other. Then, we took pictures with friends or overseas students each other.

I thought that students overseas are very good speaker in Japanese. To speak Japanese is easy for me because I am Japanese. However it is very difficult for students overseas to speak Japanese, so I respect students overseas. Japanese has three types of letter; Hiragana, Katakana and Kanji. It is very hard!!!

We had communicated with students overseas till about 12 am. I had very good time. I enjoyed spending there. I want to go dormitory again!!!

BR 1-01: Audrey Hepburn" Chris Rice

Audrey worked hard at her dancing. She had no time for boyfriends. One day the ballet school told her: "I'm sorry, but you'll never be a famous dancer. You'll too tall."
Audrey was sad, but then something happened. It changed her life...

And it changed the lives of millions of other people too. She made about thirty movies and became one of the molst famous people in the world.

Audrey Kathleen van Heemstra Hepburn-Ruston was born in Brussels on May 4, 1929. Her mother , Baroness Ella van Heemstra, was Dutch. Her father, Joseph, was half English, half Irish.

Her greatest love was music. "What's music?" "It's for dancing." Audrey wanted to be a dancer.

In 1948 Audrey and her mother moved to London. She went to the Ballet Rambert. But she was said, "I'm sorry, but you'll never be a famous dancer. You're too tall."
Audrey was sad, but It changed her life. Somebody from the ballet school gave her a small part in a big London musical.
When she was twenty, her photo was in many magazines. And Roman Holiday opened in London on August 20, 1953.

On September 25, 1954, She married Mel Ferrer in Switzerland. She became pregnant and stopped making movies. Sadly, she lost the baby. She was very sad, but Mel loved her and was very nice to her.She did not want to lose a third baby. In January 1960 Audrey had a baby boy, Sean.

My Fair Lady came to the movie theaters in October 1964.
After that, she wanted to be near Mel, so she moved to Spain with him for eight months. She then bought a house in a small town in the French part of Switzerland. In 1965, Audrey and Mel were happy again.

On January 20, 1993, Audrey Hepburn died. She was sixty-four.

I think that she was very nice woman. She was very beautiful and active. Anyway she has challenge spirit. I have to learn about her.
I was surprised that she made thirty movies. How much she memorized her lines! How much she made money in thirty movies! I know her movis, which is famous for Roman holiday. I want to watch her movie more!!!

On 8th, Tuesday, First classes started. There are four classes on Tuesday. First class started at 9 am. Therefore I had to get up early in the morning. It was about seven thirty. It was very hard for me to get up early in the morning, because I had not got up early in the morning during spring vacation. I am not good at getting up early in the morning.

On Wednesday, I had to get up early in the morning also. My teacher of writing class is full of energy and funny. He is new face for me. I am looking forward to taking this class.

I think that reading class is very useful for me, because we will study English-language paper this year. English-language paper has many words and phrase. I can acquire the knowledge of words and phrase.
Also, I thought speaking class is very useful. This year's speaking is conversation. We can really study communication in English. I am very interested in this class.

Dear host family.

Hello. My name is Airi H. I'm from Japan. Nice to meet you. Fist, I' ll introduce myself. I'm 19 years old and freshman in KGU. I belong to the English Department. Since I want to speak English very well, understand foreign movies in English and interpret English into Japanese for tourists, I entered KGU.

My favorite things are karaoke, listening to music and travel. Really, I want to use a plane when I travel, but I often use express bus or Shinkansen because the fare is low. During next spring vacation, I want to travel somewhere with my friend, and I want to visit traditional places or famous places and so on. Do you like to travel? Where have you ever been for travel? If there are many places to see, please take me there.

Now, I live in an apartment by myself. I had lived with my parents until last march, so I felt lonely when I entered the university. At last, I became accustomed to new surroundings. I cook every day. I am boring my cooking. Sometimes I think I want to eat my mother's cooking. If you have a special menu, tell me how to cook it. What Japanese cooking do you want to eat?

By the way, are there any universities near your house? I want to get on with many university students and make friends with them. I want to try my speaking skill. If possible, please introduce your friends to me.

It is hot or cool in the summer in Canada? I have an image of a cool climate. If it is cool, I will take many long-sleeved shirts. If it is hot, I will take many T-shirts. Is there anything else I should take? If so, please tell me. I'll prepare my necessities.

Hanami In Kumamoto Castle

On April 2nd I and my friend, Lisa went to Kumamoto Castle to see 夜桜 after school. We arrived there at 7 o'clock. When we arrived there, another friends or students from abroad had already arrived there. There were about 30 people. Some of them were new students from abroad. I introduced myself to new students from abroad and talked about something. And then, we did relay race divide people into two groups. It was a game that each of men carry each of woman on his back. So I was carried on his back. It was very interesting game, I thought.

夜桜 was very good. It was beautiful!! I recommend you to see 夜桜!! The best spot is Kumamoto Castle.

I am sophomore!!!!!

On April 1st, I became sophomore!!
I was very surprised. I met my classmates after a long separation, so I was very happy to see my friends. I felt be homesick for ententrance ceremony a year ago. However, I don't want to back that day, because I feel so sad. I felt lonely that day.
Now, I enjoy my school days. I am looking forward to spending this year!
